"In this neighborhood, and across the globe, it's like they declared war," says one woman about Detroit developers in the docu-music-video Locusts. The video, inspired by the last track on Invincible's new album Shapeshifters and featuring hip-hop artist Finale, speaks to the legacies of removal and displacement felt by communities across the globe. It also includes interviews with community members and activists on shady, money-driven practices that take precedence over sustainable community development.
