Fear of a Black Marker: K Chronicles Tags WireTap!
Be sure to catch The K Chronicles on the first Friday of each month.
Keith Knight was born and raised in the Boston area, settled in San Francisco and now calls LA his home. Weaned on a steady diet of Star Wars, hip-hop, racism and Warner Bros. cartoons, Knight started drawing comics in grade school and developed his trademark cartooning style in the Bay Area in the '90s. His strips have been described as a cross between Calvin & Hobbes and underground comix. Knight is part of a new generation of talented young African-American artists who infuse their work with urgency, edge, humor, satire, politics and race. His comic art has appeared in museums and galleries from San Francisco (CA) to Angouleme (France). He also co-wrote and illustrated The Beginner's Guide to Community-Based Art.
For more, check out his four the K Chronicles collections, and two single panel (th)ink anthologies.
