Podcast: When We're Not Working

Do you need to live in the hood to organize in the Hood? Two Rustbelt organizers talk shop.

When We're Not Working is back with Episode 3 and this week we feature a conversation about your connection to your community. Do you need to live in the hood to organize in the hood?

We also discuss a new book "Maybe One," which argues that having one kid is plenty. And we respond to articles that tell us it's the end of black politics, as well as electoral college. And as usual, we'll throw in some great websites and excellent tunes. Hopefully, you'll enjoy this one!

In addition to Wiretap, get all future "When We're Not Working" podcasts and learn more about Matt and Gavin, at our blog - http://whenwerenotworking.wordpress.com -- and feel free to email us at whenwerenotworking@gmail.com. What topic should we cover? Whom should we invite as our guest? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated! We know we have a long way to go.

Gavin Leonard is the State Director for Ohio's Center for Progressive Leadership, based in Cincinnati.
